It seems surreal to think that in less than a month my baby will be turning 1. I've been following the other August MN Moms and Babies and some of them have already hit that big milestone. It's fun to think that Andy will always be the baby of the group, but it's also a reminder of just who had to wait the longest to hold their little angel in their arms.
In two days, most of us are getting together to celebrate wit
h a big bash. I'm looking forward to seeing all my friends again and it's always a treat to see the babies together. I hate that almost no one lives close enough to me to see on a regular basis. These ladies really have been such a great support team for me, and I'm proud to call them all my friends.
Andy is now not only standing up on his own, but walking! Where did the time go! I remember when he was a little peanut who stayed still when we put him down somewhere. Those days are long gone! Here he is watching TV with Brother Kyle. I was excited to finally get a picture of him standing on his own, and then about two weeks later he was walking around the living room. I feel like sometimes I really shouldn't blink!
